Larry called wondering about his new iMac G5 (congrats!), how to transfer files from his G3 iMac. If the G3 has firewire, he can use the automatic migration assistant in Tiger. There’s a good article on it here:

If it doesn’t have firewire, he can use an ethernet cable to physically connect the computers, use Apple filesharing to logically connect the computers, and manually drag and drop the information he wants to move.

He can also use an external firewire hard drive, or USB device, or burn a CD! smile
