I love love love the iPhone and want to get one but need to find out one thing first which from reading everything online am not able to find out. I run a PR firm and have over 3200 contacts in my address book. When I went into the ATT / Cingular store and asked if there was a way of searching through the contacts with a search tool vs. scrolling down the list of these contacts with my finger I was told that there wasn't. I want to confirm that this is so, as I need to search for company names, names of people in my book and get the information quickly. I am about to buy a Palm or a Blackberry to do this if the iphone cannot. Please let me know as it is a major issue for me. Thanks. I want to be sure that the people at the ATT store were correct.

Do know that I use an MacPro running Parallels and it rocks.

The iPhone will be the best iPod ever. Capacity is one thing, feature rich capability is, yet, still another.

Current iPods will go the way of the Sony Walkman. An amazing trailblazer... but eventually surpassed with technology. IPhone will rule for the next several years.

I hate to say it but its not the best iPod ever because it only comes in 4 and 8 gig models which can't hold my library as touted by the demo by Apple. I consider the best iPod ever to be the 60 gig version. I think I will wait for that.

It is a tragedy that iPhone will not be available in my part of the world for the time being. So, we will have to be satisfied with reading all the reviews and seeing all the pictures.
