I run a PR firm and have over 3200 contacts in my address book. When I went into the ATT / Cingular store and asked if there was a way of searching through the contacts with a search tool vs. scrolling down the list of these contacts with my finger I was told that there wasn't. I want to confirm that this is so, as I need to search for company names, names of people in my book and get the information quickly. I am about to buy a Palm or a Blackberry to do this if the iphone cannot. Please let me know as it is a major issue for me. Thanks. I want to be sure that the people at the ATT store were correct. I consider the best iPod ever to be the 60 gig version. I think I will wait for that.
